Maggie May & Lizzie Loo Launch Benefitting Kristi House at Books & Books Coral Gables

Miami, FL – June 8, 2019 – Maggie Cordish and Lizzie Schaul celebrated the launch of their first children’s book Maggie May and Lizzie Loo at Books & Books Coral Gables on Saturday, sponsored by Power Plus Tutoring. The sisters and co-authors hosted a community carnival complete with face painting, cotton candy, sno-cones, Misha’s Cupcakes, and story time with the authors. All proceeds from the book sales of Maggie May and Lizzie Loo benefitted Kristi House, a Children’s Advocacy Center dedicated to eradicating child abuse and sex trafficking.

Maggie May and Lizzie Loo is a rhyming picture book that explores the challenging feelings of sibling rivalry while capturing the irreplaceable bond between sisters. Co-authored by two real-life sisters, Maggie Cordish and Lizzie Schaul share a passion for early childhood education and based the story on their own sisterly dynamic growing up.
