Miami, FL – June 8, 2019 – Amigos For Kids, the Miami-based nonprofit organization that since 1991 has aimed to prevent child abuse and neglect by valuing children, strengthening families, and educating communities, celebrated its signature annual fundraiser, the 2019 Royal Caribbean Miami Celebrity Domino Night presented by Bacardi, on Saturday, June 8th. This year, the event took place at a beautiful new bayfront venue – Royal Caribbean’s recently-inaugurated, iconic “Crown of Miami” Terminal A at PortMiami. With over 1,500 of Miami’s movers and shakers, influencer and celebrity guests in attendance, the fundraiser was another overwhelming success for the well-respected organization.

The event, touted by many as Miami’s most fun and popular fundraiser, featured the sounds of DJ Irie and Groove Republik, a culinary pavilion showcasing some of South Florida’s top chefs and restaurants, and an extensive silent auction. Additionally, a very special moment of the evening was the heartwarming tribute by Co-Founder & Chairman Emeritus Jorge A. Plasencia and Board Chair Nicole Valls to the organization’s late President & CEO Rosa Maria Plasencia who passed suddenly on October 9, 2018.
