The James Beard Foundation Hosts 5th Annual Blended Burger Project Luncheon at La Placita
Miami, FL – May 21, 2019 – Burgers, made better. The James Beard Foundation gathered with foodies at La Placita yesterday to launch the 5th Annual Blended Burger Project, a summer-long competition challenging restaurants nationwide to blend finely chopped fresh mushrooms with meat for burgers that are more delicious, nutritious and sustainable. At the event, Chef Jose Mendin debuted his entry, the “8 oz. Primed Blended Burger.”
