2019 Cervera Summit at EAST, Miami
Miami, FL – April 2, 2019 – Cervera Real Estate marked its 50-year anniversary earlier this week during its annual corporate summit, which was held at the East Hotel in Brickell City Centre. Themed “Entrepreneurship in the Modern Marketplace,” the 2019 Cervera Summit featured major corporate announcements, the induction of the firm’s 2018 Top Producer Circle, and a variety of real estate industry heavyweights as guest speakers, including a keynote by Bernardo Fort-Brescia, founding principal of the internationally renowned architectural design firm Arquitectonica. Prior to his keynote, Cervera Real Estate founder and chairman, Alicia Cervera, surprised her long-time friend by presenting him with the first copy of her newly published coffee table book Visionary.
Other highlights from the event included a special presentation by Teresa Kinney, President of Miami Association of REALTORS; and a “Why Miami & South Florida of the Future” panel featuring Jaap Donath, Vice President of Research & Strategic Planning at Miami Beacon Council; Christina Crespi, Deputy Director at Miami Downtown Development Authority; Jenni Morejon, President of Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority; Carlos Cruz-Casas, Assistant Director – Division of Transportation & Strategic Planning at Miami Department of Transportation; Dr. William Hardin, Associate Dean for the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University; and moderated by Matt Haggman, Former Miami Director of Knight Foundation.
