S.H.I.N.E. Networking Inc.’s 4th Annual Networking Celebration: S.H.I.N.E. LOVE! at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami

Miami, FL – March 3, 2019 – Guests set out to experience the power of love at the Ritz Carlton Ballroom in Coconut Grove, Florida from 10 am -3:33 pm. S.H.I.N.E.’s founder Meg Nocero, the award winning author of The Magical Guide to Bliss, with Team S.H.I.N.E. (Karyn Todd, Tina Ashley, Lisa Rosen, Karuna Devi, Frank Simone & Ghislaine Ynestroza) created an amazing day where each person was invited to claim their tiara or crown, journey to bliss, dream, believe, create, and S.H.I.N.E. love. After passing under the golden butterfly tunnel created by Fun Inspiration Events, each person walked the red carpet where at the end S.H.I.N.E. Volunteer Randee Lehrer interviewed each as to how they shine love. When done, guests were able to mix, mingle, and network with our amazing sponsors: jewelry by Salon Dahlia, Francisco Vargas, Esq., skin care products by Zartgefuhl, Miami Center for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Glasshaus, Reach & Rise Residences at Brickell City Centre and USI.

DJ Lawrence the Entertainer got the celebration started in the main ballroom with the Beatles “All We Need is Love” and kept the energy going throughout the rest of the day. Positive vibrations were felt throughout the performances by speakers Meg Nocero, Jon Saxx, Marsie Ross, and Simone Christine Gers. Singers Ava Simone, 10, and Camila Moreno, 10, brought down the house with their rendition of “A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman and “That’s Amore”. And, there was not a dry eye in the house when S.H.I.N.E. Ambassadors, Marjory Stoneman Douglas students, Sawyer Garrity and Andrea Pena performed a special mashup along with “Shine”, their inspirational song that they wrote after they survived the Parkland tragedy last February 14, 2018. Both Sawyer and Andrea received the non profit’s educational scholarships named in honor of the founder’s late mother Mary Jo Nocero.

In addition, their non profit SHINE MSD received a grant for their Camp Shine (a healing camp through the arts) from the Love Button Global Movement presented by Ambassadors Steve and Debbie Block. The Honorable Denise Lane received the “Taz Grout Good Neighbor Award” for the work with her service organization, Sisters in Spirit (S.I.S.). The celebration began with an Icebreaker by Leadership Expert Sommer Sherrod. Raffles, including mini bites by Pavlova Express, were presented throughout by drag queens Alana Mendoza and Miss Universe. And, this “out of the box” networking event ended with a high energy performance of IntenSATI with the wellness warrior Natalia Maldonado. It was a truly a magical afternoon filled with moments that elevated the mind, body & spirit, inspired, and created opportunities for connection and pride. Most importantly, at the end of the day, the S.H.I.N.E. family sent a much needed ripple effect of love out into the world. S.H.I.N.E. is an acronym that stands for Spirit. Hope. Insight. Networking. Event. S.H.I.N.E Networking Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that supports educational scholarships for young innovative leaders in our community who are using their talents to make a difference in the world.
