Porsche of America Celebrates Award Ceremony at THE COLLECTION

Miami, FL – March 22, 2019 – Porsche of America visited THE COLLECTION Porsche to present a special gift to a special client, Mr. Puren. Back in June of 2018, Mr. Puren submitted a digital rendering of what he envisioned his GT3 Touring to look like which launched a new Porsche initiative to recognize a limited group of future special projects. It took several months to complete this Special Project, and to thank Mr. Puren for trusting the Porsche Zuffenhausen team to make his dream a reality, Porsche presented him with a handmade personalized box utilizing the materials featured in the car itself. It included some amazing items that made this experience unique and memorable: A leather sample block finished in the exact same materials as the interior of the car: Carrera Red leather with Silver piping accent, a silhouette of the car painted at the same time as the car to prevent any color variation, a USB Drive documenting the personal visualization in digital form, and the actual gloves used by the Zuffenhausen staff to install the Leather to Sample seat and door panels.

Porsche of America and THE COLLECTION Porsche made history under its Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Partners division. It was the first time a client was presented with a Leather to Sample Special Project Car Gift Box under this new program. This gesture is meant to recognize the customization and attention to detail that goes into making a client’s dream a reality in Germany. At THE COLLECTION Porsche, their Global Certified Brand Ambassadors maintain close contact with the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Departments in the U.S. and Germany where all handcrafted parts are assembled and receive rigorous training in the area of custom tailoring.
