Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services Hosts Poseidon’s Night Gala at JW Marriott Marquis Miami
Miami, FL – March 17, 2019 – Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services celebrated its mission of providing life-saving services to local youth and families in Miami-Dade County with this year’s “Poseidon’s Night” gala held at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. The evening consisted of sumptuous dining, dancing, and lively entertainment that honored the donors and volunteers who open their hearts and contribute each year to the organization’s mission. Upon arrival, attendees were greeted by mermaids and invited to visit the “Glam Station” featuring body glitter and rhinestones. They also mingled with entertainers on stilts and roaming interactive jellyfish, visited the Seahorse Lounge where VIPs were treated to a special tasting of Hennessy VSOP Privilege Collection, and much more. Over 600 guests, including board members, local philanthropists, and government officials, were transported to the watery realm of Poseidon—the Greek god of the sea. The theme was inspired by those who work round the clock to help some of the most vulnerable population of kids and teens rise from the depths of unimaginable traumas. The event’s top-tier sponsors included Albert and Mayra Santiago, Coastal Construction, PepsiCo, TD Bank, and Diageo, along with presenting sponsor, Ryder System, Inc. Event co-chairs, Joseph Cantrell and Dagmar Llaudy, Esq., alongside president of the board, Marlene Quintana, Esq., led a 20-member gala committee whose combined efforts helped bring this lost underwater city to life.
