CMX Cinemas Hosted Oscar Awards Prediction Panel with Leading South Florida Film Critics & Journalists at CMX Stone Sports Bar

Miami, FL – February 5, 2019 – Luxury movie theater, CMX Cinemas in Brickell City Centre celebrated the countdown to the Oscars with a dynamic panel discussion at their exclusive CMX Stone Sports Bar, which brought together some of the city’s leading film critics and journalists to discuss their predictions for cinema’s biggest night. The panelists included movie critic and entertainment reporter Maria Salas; SAG member and director Mariana Medina; writer and previous film executive Becky Randel; and revered film critic Dan Hudak, who served as the evening’s moderator. The night was filled with laughter and surprises, including a special guest appearance by celebrated actor Carlos Ponce. After the panel discussion, the group continued to celebrate at a private reception held in CMX’s VIP lounge, where they were joined by CMX CEO Jose Leonardo Marti, CMX Corporate Operations Manager Diego Tamez and CMX Corporate Marketing Manager Monika Sanchez for light bites and cocktails. The Oscars Predication Panel was also streamed live on CMX’s Facebook Page, where movie buffs from afar were able to tune in. CMX Brickell will also be throwing their own Oscar Red Carpet Viewing Event on February 24th at their CMX Stone Sports Bar, where they will be showing the Oscars live on their LED screens, which are the largest indoor in Florida.
