Ximena Kavalekas Celebrates the “Elysze” Bag at Ximena Kavalekas Store

Miami, FL – December 12, 2018 – To celebrate the announcement of the upcoming collaboration of the “Elysze” bag, with noted Stylist Elysze Held, Designer Ximena Kavalekas welcomed an intimate crowd to her showroom to share their thoughts and suggestions as to what they would like to see in the design of the “Elysze” bag. This is the second collaboration the Miami-based brand has chosen, the first being with Margheritia Missoni. The choice, Ximana noted, is perfect, as Elysze represents all the unique style that is Miami! In her opening speech, Elysze stated “Python Is the New Black” as Ximena Kavalekas is a Miami-based brand specializing in handmade python accessories. Each piece is crafted in Italy and fully embellished in python skin, to then be imported to Miami, Florida. The ideas flowed for the development of the bag and the crowd quickly commenced with their Christmas shopping at the showroom, with a percentage of the profits of the evening allocated to No More Tears, guests were treated to holiday light bites and cordials. No More Tears, is an unique organization – providing immediate resources to victims of domestic violence or human trafficking in South Florida. Founder Somy Ali posed a moving heart-to-heart speech on the volunteer driven organization and the lives that are changed. Guests included the Honorable Bronwyn Miller and Migna Sanchez-Llorens; Miami City Ballet Founder Toby Lerner Ansin, Jennifer Montoya, Designer(s) Flavia Lowenstein, Danny Santiago and Renato Armijo, Dr. Ronda Fuchs and Brett Graff.
