Not only was this an opportunity to get a first look at Poltrona’s latest unique and modern designs, but guests got a chance to mingle with Miami’s movers and shakers, enjoy live music, and indulge in the scrumptious catering.

“Opening this showroom store in Miami within the Design District marks a key step in the growth path of Poltrona Frau in the North-America area. Everything is part of a global strategy of attention to retail and distribution formats that enhance the brand experience, as evidenced by the recent openings in Houston, Dubai and Tokyo as well as the relocation of Los Angeles in September “, said Nicola Coropulis, managing director of Poltrona Frau. Jazz music and prominent celebrities such as legendary actor Armand Assante, entrepreneur mogul, Jorge Hané, as well as the founder of SPI/FilmBox, Loni Farhi, and many others, surrounded Poltrona Frau’s event. Guests also had the opportunity to test drive the 2019 Ferrari Portofino.

Founded in 1912, Poltrona Frau has given over a century of life and culture to leather, the brand’s chosen material. A leader in top-end Made in Italy furniture and an ambassador of Italian excellence around the world, Poltrona Frau is now part of the Haworth Group, the leading American office furniture holding company, yet has stayed true to its identity and values. Internationally recognized for high-quality, handcrafted furniture, Poltrona Frau’s furniture making stems from its long history of producing leather. The brand hopes to continue to bring and expand over a century worth of modern materials and well-crafted production techniques to the metropolitan area of Southeast Florida. This inspiring evening was a memorable event and another reminder of why the design district was created in the first place.
