12th Annual Wild About Kids Gala “A Night in Havana” at JW Marriott Marquis Miami

Miami, FL – November 10, 2018 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade celebrated its 12th Annual “Wild About Kids” Gala, “A Night in Havana” themed event at JW Marriott Marquis Miami. More than 600 guests attended the Gala that helps benefit positive programs and Belkys Nerey of WSVN and Miami’s number one DJ, DJ Zog, emceed the event. Presenting sponsor, Norwegian Cruise Line provided entertainment and dancing during the evening showcasing a special performance of its onboard production of ¡HAVANA! along with music by Albita Rodriguez. Guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and listening to old Havana-style music throughout the evening. Attendees also had the opportunity to bid on a selection of silent auction luxury items and experiences that benefited Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. Youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade spoke about the positive impact the Club has had on their lives. Event Gala chairs were Andrew Stuart, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line; and his wife Allison Stuart. The special event chair was Olga Guilarte. Gala committee members included Jane Barrelier, Tom Bezold, Belinda Biggs, Saskia Bowers, Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado, Karen Dudley, Marisa Farrell-Arteaga, Alicia Gerrits Hawkins, Judy Kramer, Marile Lopez, Anna Noriega, Melissa Pallett-Vasquez, Raul Rodriguez Jacome, Alex Rodriguez-Roig, Durée Ross and Eris Thomas.
