Faena Rose Hosts James Beard Award Winner Nina Compton for Exclusive Guest Chef Dinner
Miami Beach, FL – October 19, 2018 – James Beard Award winner and beloved Top Chef alum, Chef Nina Compton, prepared an incredible, 7-course dinner exclusively for Faena Rose members that brilliantly mixed the indigenous ingredients and rich culinary heritage of New Orleans with those of Nina’s Caribbean roots, classical French culinary training, and deep experience with Italian cuisine. Between courses, guests danced to the Wayne Perry Band, and over dessert, Nina discussed her career and distinct culinary creations in a conversation moderated by Rose Founding Member & Founder of SOBEWFF®, Lee Brian Schrager. A native of St. Lucia, Nina worked alongside world-renowned chefs like Daniel Boulud, Norman Van Aken, and Scott Conant, before opening Compère Lapin, which was voted one of the Best Restaurants in America by Eater, and Bywater American Bistro, named one of America’s Best New Restaurants this year, also by Eater.
