“Dream Machine” a Solo Exhibition by Rubem Robierb & Curated by Sebastien Laboureau at Sagamore Hotel
Miami, FL – October 11, 2018 – Miami’s art elite gathered at The Sagamore Hotel on South Beach for the opening of Dream Machine by Rubem Robierb, his most ambitious exhibition to date with over 40 works of media. The hotel partnered with Taglialatella Galleries for a swanky cocktail soirée hosted by Robierb, his husband Sam Champion (Good Morning America) and The Sagamore Hotel’s resident Art Advisor, Sebastien Laboureau. The solo show highlights Robierb’s fascination with the butterfly motif, which is brought to the fore through the bullet. The bullets, lined with Swarovski crystals are made to stand between immense canvases of butterfly wings to further underscore the juxtaposing ideas of power and beauty. The event was well attended by South Beach’s art community including artists Ed Baez, Brigitte Andrade and Sagamore owners Ronit and Ronny Ben-Josef.
