Miami, FL – August 18, 2018 – Non-profit organization Style Saves hosted its 8th annual Back-to-School event at Mana Wynwood, providing school supplies and uniforms for the upcoming school year to more than 5,000 students who would not otherwise be able to afford it. The two-day celebration turned the usually financially stressful start of a new school year into a fun affair with shopping and activations from complimentary haircuts and beauty services to carnival games, arts & crafts, fitness classes and snacks including pizza, tacos and ice cream. Students from over 60 schools and organizations including Miami-Dade Public Schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Voices for Children, His House, Communities In Schools, Irie Foundation, Mentor Network, Lotus House, The Guatemala-Mayan Center, and many more were in attendance. This year’s event provided the tools to succeed to more children than ever before, thanks to the funds raised from its annual Style Saves Swim Show during Miami Swim Week.
