YoungArts Celebrates Season with “A Pop of Culture” at the Marks Residence
Miami, FL – June 7, 2018 – The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) invited supporters to gather at the home of Steven and Oxana Marks in Coral Gables to celebrate the closing of a successful YoungArts season. The night’s host, Steven Marks, as well as YoungArts President and CEO Carolina García Jayaram and VP of Development Stacey Glassman Mizener, welcomed guests and thanked those in attendance for their continued support. Guests experienced the impressive talent of YoungArts alumni via a screening of the YoungArts-produced Transformations film series in the Marks’ family room. Justine Garcia (2016 YoungArts Winner in Jazz) performed a selection of songs to a captive audience, closing her set with Al Green’s Lets Stay Together. The evening was co-presented by YoungArts corporate partners Kawa Capital Management and Italian Jewelry brand Vhernier, which delighted guests with a display of fine Italian jewelry. Catering was provided by Thierry Isambert and included porcini mushroom risotto with carved Wagyu NY strip steak, cubed salmon ceviche, bite-sized dark chocolate shells stuffed with foie gras, roasted duck with lingonberry jam and a variety of other delicacies. Notable guests included Ariel Penzer Milgroom and Jeremy Milgroom, Audrey Ross, Beau Beasley, Bill Jones, Daniel Ades, Fernando Crespo and Rose Ellen Greene, among others.
