Young Musicians Unite 7th Annual Spring Concert at Rácket Wynwood

Miami, FL – May 18, 2018 – Young Musicians Unite (YMU) celebrated their 7th Annual Spring Concert at Rácket Wynwood. The night was filled with amazing performances by our talented young musicians. The students who performed worked hard all year to prepare for the performance. The Spring Concert is YMU’s largest fundraiser of the year and is key to the continued growth of our organization.The night featured performances by the Open Community Jazz Band, Wynwood & Miami Jazz Combo, Wynwood Rock Ensemble, and 3 partnered rock bands Arrowhead, Ripcord & Avalanche. Performances by: Arrowhead – Ripcord – Avalanche – Wynwood & MiamiJazz Combo – Open Community Jazz Band – Wynwood Rock Ensemble – Students of The Young Men’s Prep Academy – Overtown Youth Center – Jose De Diego Middle School – Booker T. Washington High School – Coral Gables Senior High & Miami Edison High School. 100% of the proceeds benefited free music programs in Overtown, Wynwood, Little Haiti, Opa-Locka, and Coral Gables.
