Miami, FL – March 20, 2018 – The Miami Open scored an ace with the return of the highly anticipated players’ party. Held at the vibrant and distinctive Miami Design District in Paradise Plaza, the party was the place to be on the evening of Tuesday, March 20th bringing out some of the biggest names in Tennis. Over 200 guests attended the exclusive event which celebrated the kick-off of the tournament, now in its thirty-fourth year. Notable guests including Anastasija Sevastova, Elise Mertens, Carla Suarez Navarro, Su-wei Hsieh, Thomas Fabbiano and Mikhail Kukushkin were in attendance. Guests enjoyed an exclusive red carpet arrival experience provided by Moët & Chandon Champagne, with Moët Ice and Moët Ice Rose Imperial as guests entered the arctic bar inside the Miami Design Districts’ Paradise Plaza and making their way through to the spacious rooftop space. According to GQ Magazine, “the most sought-after DJ in the world,” DJ Ruckus provided the entertainment for the evening and guests sipped on the Miami Open’s official signature cocktail, the Cuatro Smash by Bacardi. The tournament officially begins on Wednesday, March 21st at Crandon Park Tennis Center on Key Biscayne and ends on Sunday, April 1, 2018.
