Miami Design Shop Odyssey Part 1 Grand Opening Celebration

Miami, FL – February 16, 2018 – Miami Design Shop opened it’s warehouse doors for the first time since moving to Little River Business District, where people from all over town came to check out the space and Odyssey Part 1. Matt Root a former World Red Eye photographer founded the fabrication and design company in 2014. MDS is a 9,000 Square Foot Fabrication Studio with the machinery capable to fabricate from raw materials. They have been behind a lot of work you may have seen without knowing, from fabricating signs for local establishments such as Fooqs, Andrew, 1306 or for upcoming Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and Okeechobee Music Festival. Odyssey is place for people to enjoy themselves and explore the world of fabrication featuring a number of artists and small companies. Other artists on display included: Jorge Becerra Anthony Gomez, Lauren Metz, Vanessa Root, Konner Scroggins, Stephen Shaw, Andres Rosquete, Diego Bertalioni, and artist and photographer Ryan Troy. The food was provided by Chlorophyll.
