Miami, FL – February 22, 2018 – In honor of the SOBEWFF, chefs from around the world joined together at The Rok Family Shul, Chabad Downtown Jewish Center for a intimate Kosher dinner. Chef Jonathan Borowitz of Tel Aviv’s trendy meat-centric restaurant M25 joined three of most coveted names in culinary found on America’s coasts. Michael Solomonov has been making waves for years as an authority on Israeli cooking, and has brought his talents to Miami’s hip Wynwood neighborhood with the opening of both Federal Donuts and Dizengoff this year. Also joined by Chef Justin Smillie, who made a name for himself in the Big Apple before opening a second Upland concept on South Beach, and Chef Jenn Louis, the celebrated chef from Portland who recently opened her Israeli-inspired concept Ray, these four chefs presented a modern family-style feast inspired by all of the coveted traditions found in the land of milk and honey. This event was Glatt Kosher under the strict supervision of Rabbi Chaim Lipskar of The Shul of Downtown Miami.
