Miami, FL – January 22, 2018 – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade county is pleased to expand its Stage to Page Collection with The Soap Myth, a drama by American playwright Jeff Cohen. Stage to Page is one of the Center’s arts education initiatives that promotes literacy and arts integration in the South Florida community. Each quarter, the Center selects a book inspired by one of its major presentations and donates up to 100 new copies to other non-profit organizations, such as the Miami-Dade County Public Library System. The Soap Myth’s writer, Jeff Cohen, and the play’s extraordinary cast, featuring seven-time Emmy Award winner Ed Asnter, Tony Award nominee Johanna Day, Ned Eisenberg and Blair Baker, posed with copies of the thought-provoking play prior to their performance at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall on Monday, January 22. The Soap Myth marks the Center’s 10th installment of Stage to Page.
