Bal Harbour, FL – December 6, 2017 – St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Krug Champagne came together to celebrate Art Basel Miami Beach with a special series of Midnight Suppers, featuring rare vintages and a five-course champagne-paired menu. St. Regis and Krug are both brands steeped in rich history and tradition, and champagne plays a special role in one of St. Regis’ defining rituals – champagne sabrage – an evening tradition that takes place at St. RegisHotels & Resorts around the world. The Midnight Supper honors the legacy of Caroline Astor, the doyenne of New York Society at turn of the 19th century, and mother of St. Regis founder John Jacob Astor thefourth. She was known for throwing lavish, coveted events that were followed by intimate and exclusive suppers for only a select few. Today, gatherings like these continue to bring pleasure and celebrate the social heritage of St. Regis.
