TRP Unveils Downtown Fort Lauderdale Rooftop @ 1WLO & Taste with VIP Sneak Preview

Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 12, 2017 – The Restaurant People (TRP)—South Florida’s premier hospitality group and the masterminds behind such hot spots as YOLO, Boatyard, and S3—launched its latest visionary concepts, Rooftop @ 1WLO and TRP Taste, with a private grand opening reception. More than 250 South Florida guests were on hand for the milestone occasion, which marked the first-ever rooftop lounge in Fort Lauderdale and first of its kind culinary experience space in the market—both of which are housed in the One West Las Olas building in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Rooftop’s resident mixologists stirred up craft-inspired cocktails, as Taste Executive Chef Chris Miracolo kept the signature light bites flowing, with TRP’s resident DJ Adam Foster onsite spinning beats. VIP attendees were treated to a sneak peek of the new venues before they officially opened to the public, with VIP attendees including Mayor Jack Seiler, City Commissioners Robert McKinzie and Dean Trantalis, and professional race car drivers Gil de Ferran and Helio Castroneves joining TRP co-founders Tim Petrillo and Peter Boulukos, and Director of Operations Aaron Abramoff for the celebratory affair
