Miami, FL – October 26, 2017 – The Miami Regional Board of Indego Africa hosted the organization’s second annual Miami fundraiser at the beautiful home of gallerist, curator and artist Carol Jazzar. Indego Africa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting artisan women in Africa through employment opportunities and education. The event raised donations for the organizations education programming in Rwanda and Ghana, including technology training, business training, vocational training, and advanced leadership. Highlights of the evening included a poetry performance by Miami-based Ghanaian poet Delali Ayivor and an Indego Africa pop up-shop with a beautiful selection of handwoven artisan baskets.
