Q&A: All Aboard STUDIO 23
Miami, FL – September 27, 2017 – It’s no question Miami is known around the world as one of the hottest cities to party in. With such a variety around town, it can sometimes be difficult for one nightlife venue to set itself apart from the rest. That’s where Milo Klimovic comes in. Klimovic has created STUDIO 23, a cozier, more exclusive venue that has been allowing VIP’s and celebrities from around the world to party like their literally at home. STUDIO 23 has managed to set a new standard and in true Miami fashion, is now adding STUDIO 23 YACHTS into the mix. This latest venture will take partying in Miami to a whole new level, bringing the intimate vibes out to the water. World Red Eye caught up with STUDIO 23 and STUDIO 23 YACHTS founder Milo Klimovic, who gave us a closer look into what keeps people coming back for more and what we can hope for the future of the nightlife spot.
WRE: How did you get your start in the nightlife industry?
MK: Late September 2009, I found myself in Miami without a work permit and past due rent in Miami Beach. Facing eviction, I needed to find immediate work that would give me cash flow and allow to make rent payments. That’s when security position was given to me by (Headliner Market Group owner) Mike Gardner inside Grass Lounge, in Midtown district. Long hours, stained suits, resolving altercations and $60 shifts have opened by Chapter 1 of nightlife.
WRE: How have you seen Miami’s club scene evolve throughout the years?
MK: I didn’t see it evolve at all, if we are to use the true meaning of the word. It rather took a “copy-paste” system from the cultures of Las Vegas, Ibiza, New York City and various other nightlife destinations around the world. What did evolve is music. Early 2000’s we lived in era of EDM and House music while today, HipHop rules the market and Reggaeton is knocking on the door announcing a decade of a new culture.
WRE: What does STUDIO 23 bring to the Miami club scene that differs from other spots around town?
MK: STUDIO 23 has an intimate concept. Our venue operates on 3,000 square feet, which is equal to someone’s living room. We wanted our guests to experience the true intimate space where people of influence, artists, actors, athletes and others get to interact with one another rather then being strangled in a section where you need binoculars to see them.
WRE: For those who haven’t been yet, describe the vibe of STUDIO 23.
MK: Many describe STUDIO 23 as just that, vibe. Similar to Disney, I can tell you for hours on end about new awesome rides but you will never understand unless you ride them yourselves.

WRE: In your opinion, what goes into creating such a successful nightlife spot?
MK: Team, together everyone achieves more. This is our motto and what we preach each and every night. A phenomenal group of people have ran this project for over two years. It’s core lies in family atmosphere, close relationships, out-of-work friendships, compromises, sacrifices and collective effort to make every task complete in time. I didn’t mention knowledge because there is very little to learn from. You have to learn as you go. Although, this is a multi-billion dollar industry, upon opening a club, you are not given syllabus, manual or a diploma from Nightlife University.
WRE: At STUDIO 23, is there only one music genre that DJs stick to or does it vary day to day?
MK: Although we are very small in size and intimate, we cater to various different markets. Monday is our supreme night and by far one of the best Hip-Hop parties that Miami Beach has to offer. It’s nickname (LIV on Sunday After Party) speaks for itself.
WRE: What’s your favorite thing about Miami?
MK: My favorite thing about Miami is that we live in such a diverse city with many cultures and ethnicities. This city feeds on love and hate is simply a foreign word to us. No one that comes to Miami has any other intention but to be happy.
WRE: Tell us more about your involvement with “Golden Yacht Charters” and the recently developed app “Yacht Day”?
MK: The yachting industry is something that has tickled me for a very long time. I was introduced to it by a long time friend, Juan Rojas. His enthusiasm and passion for industry has somewhat matched mine in nightlife. We are both very driven, innovative and dedicated to making every project be the best of its potential. In my business portfolio I have never let my ventures be disconnected. Yachting and nightlife are like the siblings of Miami; they simply go hand-in-hand with one another. Being given the opportunity by Juan, I simply couldn’t be more excited and look forward to making this great venture successful.

WRE: How often will your team be putting on these yacht parties?
MK: All notifications will be sent through the app “YachtDay” so to tell you the truth, you must first download the app and pick a date to join us on the open ocean.
WRE: Are these yacht parties something that anyone can go on? or only exclusive to celebrities?
MK: STUDIO 23 MIAMI will be hosting yacht parties for their VIP clients and influential guests, while Yacht Day will simply be available to everyone Worldwide. With our offices in various different cities, such as Cartagena (Colombia), Miami (Florida), Nassau (Bahamas) and Amalfi Coast (Italy), we are expecting to gather a great number of clients very quickly and show them the #YachtDay experience.
WRE: What are you hoping these parties will bring to STUDIO 23 brand?
MK: These parties will maximize the potential of a cross promotion and allow clients of both markets to cross-use services of the companies, all while enjoying their perks.
WRE: What kind of yachts are these that people will be enjoying their time on?
MK: The yachts vary from 45′ feet to 116′ feet long and they can truly cater to any occasion you can think of. From deciding to have a cool evening and take a cruise around the bay to bringing your corporate meeting on open Miami waters accompanied with personal chef and catering crew, your #YachtDay experience will ultimately service as Uber on the water.
WRE: Explain the difference and similarities between STUDIO 23 CLUB and STUDIO 23 YACHT?
MK: The difference between STUDIO 23 CLUB and STUDIO 23 YACHT is that you may get some more sun then usual but the party will remain the same, extraordinary. Some of the unique qualities of yacht parties is that you get to enjoy the variety of perks such as cruising the Miami bay, dining, dancing, tanning and last but not least, acting as a boat captain for the first time in your life.
WRE: What is your favorite part and what is the most challenging part about operating a nightclub?
MK: No business man would ever go into a nightlife venture unless he/she truly loves nightclubs and everything that comes with it. It is a very challenging process that desires creativity, patience, intellect, tremendous marketing knowledge and last but not least, it involves financial risk unlike any other. The beauty of nightlife is that it gives everything that ordinary business can’t. New friendships, celebrations and celebrity encounters that turn into friendships, passion for succeeding and more. Closing the doors each night and going home with the sun nearly up, I feel victorious and I thank God for allowing me to be in the position that I am.
