Miami Beach, FL – October 5, 2017 – Spa Ricci, two compassionate beauties, model Petra Němcová and Sofia Joelsson, former Miss Sweden and award-winning interior designer, came together for an evening of shopping and charity. The impetus for the event was the recent disasters in Houston, South Florida, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, which struck a cord with Joelsson and put Nemcova’s Happy Hearts Fund into overdrive with multiple fronts. “She’s such a beautiful soul. She’s so caring and so thoughtful. She’s a very successful businesswoman too and it’s so special to have that combination of a caring heart, brains, and beauty.” said Nemcova who had just flown in from Paris Fashion Week, of her friend Joelsson. “We have what I like to call a “smartnership” – a very smart partnership.” The host committee included a cadre of philanthropic Miami notables including Spa Ricci owner Sofia Joelsson, LIAISONS President Suanne Birbragher, blogger and former Glamour Mexico correspondent, Danié Gómez Ortigoza, Zakarin-Martinez’s Amy Zakarin, Douglas Elliman’s Eloy Carmenate and Jay Parker. They and over 100 guest enjoyed an evneing of music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, complimentary spa services, live cigar roller, cocktails and stunning skyling views as a backdrop to their evening of giving.
