Jazz at Joe’s Stone Crab

Miami, FL – October 22, 2017 – The Miracle Society of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami held their annual Jazz at Joe’s Brunch Event at Joe’s Stone Crab. With the help of donors, they raised more than $110,000 to support the nonprofit organization’s youth mentoring program. More than 350 people attended and enjoyed Joe’s famous stone crabs, classic key lime pie and live jazz music, while hosted by Louis Aguirre of Channel 10 News. The Lori Brener Scholarship Fund led the successful raffle with over $13,000 going directly towards scholarships for the children in the program! Susan Rutrough and Victor A. Diaz served as chairs of the event and did a fantastic job of bringing new faces to the BBBS family. The Presenting Sponsor was DOS Health Management, Inc., who has been a consistent and generous supporter of the organization.
