15th Annual Smash & Grab Fundraiser at Locust Projects

Miami, FL – October 28, 2017 – Locust Projects celebrated the 14th edition of its annual Smash and Grab fundraiser with more than 300 patrons, collectors, and artists came together for a festive celebration to support the organization’s exhibitions, programs, and resources for artists. Founding board chair Dennis Scholl reprised his ongoing role as the fundraiser’s MC, providing witty banter as he raffled off works from local, national and international artists such as, Francesco Lo Castro, Bhakti Baxter, Antonia Wright, TM Sisters, Aaron T Stephan and Ahol Sniffs Glue. Guests danced the night away to sounds curated by Deejay Ray and Brother Day. Capping off the evening’s after-party was a lively performance by Poncili Creación, currently in Miami for MANA Contemporary’s Focus on Puerto Rico Residency.
