Kick-Off to 23rd Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball at InterContinental Miami

Miami, FL – September 28, 2017 – Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and InterContinental Miami celebrated the 23rd Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball VIP Kickoff Party at the InterContinental Miami in anticipation of this season’s gala Mystical Music Box on Saturday, November 4, headlined by singer Lenny Kravitz. Actress and filmmaker Gabrielle Anwar will return as celebrity emcee of The Ball and NBC’s The Voice winner Alisan Porter will return as the evening’s opening act. The evening concluded with an endearing speech by Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Wish recipient’s father, Carlos (nickname Fred) Moreira whose son, Davi, had his wish granted to visit Disney after recovering from leukemia. With tears in his eyes, “Fred” described how happy it made his son to have this extraordinary experience when facing one of the toughest challeges of his young life.
