Womenade’s 8th Annual Take A Walk in Her Shoes Vintage Fashion Show & Luncheon at the InterContinental Miami

Miami, FL – May 19, 2017 – Womenade’s 8th Annual Take A Walk in Her Shoes Vintage Fashion Show & Luncheon produced by C. Madeleine’s, directed by Danny Santiago and hair styling and make up by Rik Rak Salon attracted more than 500 guests and was held at the InterContinental Miami. The event was chaired by Bronwyn Miller, Migna Sanchez-Llorens and Irene Korge and honored ten outstanding women in our community: Christine Barney, Lauren Beall, Dr. Evalina Bestman, Constance Fernandez, Sonia Gibson, Mayra Joli, Carol Iacovelli, Renee Lopez-Cantera, Laura Munilla and Irene White. Christine E. Lynn was presented with the 2017 Trish Bell Lifetime Achievement Award, an award that honors and recognizes an individual in our Miami community who inspires and motivates the people around them to achieve a greater vision of hope and opportunity for those most in need. Womenade is composed of women from all walks of life united by a commitment to increase awareness and revenue for Chapman Partnership, the private sector partner of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, operating two Homeless Assistance Centers in downtown Miami and Homestead. Funds generated through membership and events assist the women and children residents who are looking to rebuild their lives. Chapman Partnership’s mission is to provide comprehensive services to empower our homeless residents to become self-sufficient. Chapman Partnership operates two Homeless Assistance Centers with 800 beds located in Miami and Homestead. We help the homeless by providing a comprehensive support program that includes emergency housing, meals, health, dental, psychiatric care, day care, job training, job placement and assistance with securing stable housing.
