Miami, FL – May 19, 2017 – The Miami Design District in collaboration with 19-time Grammy© Award winning producer Emilio Estefan and Estefan Kitchen closed out the six week long Palm Court Performance Series music programming with a performance by Cachao Mambo All Star Orchestra. Carrying on the legacy of the Grammy-winning bassist and composer Israel “Cachao” Lopez, the legendary “father of the mambo” the afro-Cuban ensemble moved the crowd to an array of their biggest hits.  Throughout the months, over 12,000 people came out to enjoy sounds by a combination of renowned music leaders and up and coming artists such as the Miami Symphony Orchestra, Emily Estefan, and the Frost School of Music, to name a few. The beautiful evening marked the final production of the Palm Court Performance Series and yet another successful community event organized by the Miami Design District. Happy Hour specials at Estefan Kitchen will continue on Fridays throughout the summer.
