Miami, FL – March 7, 2017 – A preview event to the upcoming Doctors Hospital Gala – themed “Life is a Cabaret, Doctors Hospital Ball on Broadway” – took place at event sponsor Tarpon Bend Raw Bar and Grill in Coral Gables. The event, “Behind the Curtain of Life is a Cabaret,” offered light hors d’oeuvres and drinks and gave attendees a glimpse of what promises to be the premier gala of the season, as well as raise funds to benefit the Doctors Hospital Center for Excellence in Nursing. Chairing this year’s Doctors Hospital Gala (May 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Arena at FIU) are Mirtha and Jose Davila, M.D.; Mayi and Abel Iglesias; Olga and Nelson Lazo, CEO of Doctors Hospital; Abby and Jose Portuondo, M.D., and Nancy and Agustin Veitia.
