Miami, FL – February 17, 2017 – Rojas + Rubensteen Projects, a contemporary art gallery in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, welcomed Saudi artist Manal AlDowayan and FIU’s Initiative for Muslim World Studies for a reception for the exhibition, “I am Here: Manal AlDowayan.” World-acclaimed female artist Manal AlDowayan’s art work includes photography, installation and mixed media. It is her first comprehensive exhibition in the U.S. AlDowayan explores what defines humans at the most granular level — our thoughts, bodies, personal histories, religious choices. Guests who attended the artist reception enjoyed a unique opportunity to meet the artist herself and hear about the inspiration behind her works. The solo exhibition will run through March 26.
