Bal Harbour, FL – February 24, 2017 – Hugo Carmona, deputy chef to internationally renowned truffle expert Benjamin Bruno (AKA The Truffle King), together with Martha Stewart, Emmy Award-winning television show host, entrepreneur and best-selling author and Le Zoo Executive Chef Craig Wallen hosted an inspired evening reminiscent of a decadent evening in St. Tropez at Le Zoo in celebration of the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Capping off the evening was desserts from pastry king and 2016 James Beard Award semifinalist Antonio Bachour, of Miami’s Bachour Bakery+Bistro. Attendees enjoyed the truest interpretations of French cuisine, inclusive of luxurious truffle accents, at the perfectly paired dinner paying homage to the 10th anniversary of Château D’Esclans Whispering Angel. Set under the lush canopy of Le Zoo, the evening transported guests straight to the iconic sidewalk cafés of Paris without guests ever reaching for their passport. The evening also marked as a celebration for the Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program.
