Pegasus World Cup Invitational Post Position Draw at Gulfstream Park
Hallandale Beach, FL – January 23, 2017 – The Stronach Group, owners and operators of leading businesses across various industries, including world-class horse racing, entertainment and pari-mutuel wagering technology, officially announced the 12 horses that will be competing at the inaugural $12 Million USD Pegasus World Cup Invitational during the Post Position Draw. The world’s richest Thoroughbred horse race takes place at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, January 28th, and will be televised live on NBC from 4:30 – 6:00 PM EST. The innovative Pegasus World Cup Invitational will be contested at 1 1/8 miles on the dirt. Twelve owners have reserved a spot in the starting gate for $1 million USD. Owners were able to race, lease, share a starter, or sell their place in the gate.
