A Night in Havana New Year’s Eve 2017 at Faena Miami Beach

Miami Beach, FL – December 31, 2016 – Faena Miami Beach bid a farewell to 2016 and welcomed the New Year to the drumbeat of Havana’s golden years. Paying homage to the City of Columns with an evening that revived the iconic capital’s glamorous past accompanied by songs from Trio Cubano and other well-known artists. The night began with live-fire specialties at Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann or Filipino-infused flavors at Pao by Paul Qui. Surrounded by friends at The Living Room, singer Keba played to a full crowd followed by the spinning vinyl of DJ Funky Therapy. Counting down to midnight, the spectators stopped by to watch Cuban cigars being hand rolled by Cigar Stud’s master artisan, then headed downstairs to dance at Faena Theater for Javier Garcia Cuban Project’s live Latin American rhythms. After midnight, DJ Richie Hell and DJ Nektar de Stagni kept everyone rollicking well into the evening with electrifying musical performances.
