Night Market at Pao by Paul Qui Opening Celebration with Bombay Sapphire Gin at Faena
Miami Beach, FL – November 29, 2016 – Global influencers, art collectors and tastemakers joined together for the private preview of Night Market at Pao by Paul Qui – an illuminated indoor and outdoor pop-up experience at Pao by Paul Qui at Faena Hotel during Art Week 2016. The evening kicked off on the Pao Terrace where guests experienced artful Bombay Sapphire elixirs and sampled hand-held, street market-inspired bites from the Night Market Carts, represented by Night Market chef collaborators, Chef Edward Lee of 610 Magnolia and PBS’ Mind of a Chef; Chef Christopher Haatuft of Lysverket in Norway; Chef Erik Bruner-Yang of Washington D.C.’s Toki Underground and Chef John Fraser of New York’s Dovetail, Nix and Narcissa. The live music, a striking Love Buddha sculpture from Michael Benisty and rows of Asian-inspired hanging lights, animated the indoor and outdoor spaces of Pao.
In addition, guests enjoyed a private preview of the Night Market Chef Collective dinner at Pao, which offered a 4 course menu by Chef Paul Qui. Each night during Miami Art Week, chef Paul Qui will collaborate with one Night Market chef (Chef Edward Lee, Chef Christopher Haatuft, Chef Erik Bruner-Yang or Chef John Fraser) to create a special pre-fixe menu. The dining experience begins with a different Bombay Sapphire welcome cocktail. Paired perfectly with the evening’s menu, each artfully-designed pre-dinner cocktail has been crafted to open the palate and enhance the flavors in the meal to come. Inspired by electrifying nights in Southeast Asia, Night Market is open through Saturday, December 3, and features exclusive nightly menus paired with music and innovative cocktail creations designed by Bombay Sapphire North American Ambassador Gary Hayward and Faena’s mixologist Marko Tomovic.
