Miami Beach, FL – November 17, 2016 – The Deck at Island Gardens became the sexy red-carpet spotlight for luxury and design. Jacob and Co., universally recognized for their trend-setting timepieces, and Daoro, a high-end jeweler working with the most renowned brands, collaborated to celebrate the highly anticipated debut of Jacob and Co. to the Miami market. The new limited edition watch, ASTRONOMIA SKY, by Jacob & Co. was presented to invited guests. The concept of this watch merges watchmaking, design and engineering, taking the celestial display so integral to seafarers, astronomers and ancient horologers and placing it on your wrist. Never before seen in watchmaking, the ASTRONOMIA SKY introduces a three-dimensional sidereal display. This one of a kind piece can be purchased at Daoro in Aventura for $695,000. Models were adorned with Jacob & Co. jewelry while displays highlighted additional high-end pieces by Jacob the jeweler. A red carpet led to two 76-ft Monte Carlo Yachts docked at the Deck. Over 500 high-profile guests attended to enjoy The Deck’s signature cocktails, sip Whispering Angel Rosé and experience a wide selection of hors d’oeuvres, prepped by The Deck’s chef Alfredo Alvarez.
