Brickell City Centre’s ‘Light It Up’ VIP Cocktail Celebration

Miami, FL – November 17, 2016 – Brickell City Centre came alive at its holiday season kickoff with the work of famed production designer and Marvel phenom, Kirk M. Petruccelli (set designer for The Incredible Hulk, Blade, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four and more) and an exclusive VIP cocktail party. Miami residents and visitors marveled at floating snowflakes, enchanted creatures, large magical, lucite trees that came to life when triggered by motion, over-the- top special effects, and more. Petruccelli meticulously designed the installations using state-of- the-art technology and recyclable materials. This unique experience will be available to the public throughout the holiday season. During the invitation-only VIP cocktail party, guests welcomed and mingled with Petruccelli and were able to interact with the holiday installations through a variety of personalized elements. Petruccelli created an interactive, immersive experience with a “journey through the snowflake” theme, never-before-seen in Miami.

The holiday kickoff also launched Brickell City Centre’s curated music program by famous runway DJ and Centre Music Director, Michaelangelo L’Acqua. At the evening event, crafted cocktails and light bites from EAST Miami were served as guests enjoyed a live jazz performance by master vocalist and magnetic performer Emily Braden. Braden, winner of New York City’s prestigious “Best of the Best” Jazzmobile Vocal Competition, captivated the audience with her powerhouse vocals and striking stage presence. Additionally, a toy drive was available where guests were encouraged to donate unwrapped toys to benefit Voices for Children Foundation.
