Arsht Center Celebrates Season Opening with ARTSLAUNCH2016

Miami, FL – September 10, 2016 – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County hosted ARTSLAUNCH2016, a FREE annual celebration to kick off South Florida’s arts season and to celebrate the Center’s official box office opening. Created in partnership with the local arts community and DWNTWN Art Days, ARTSLAUNCH2016 included various activities including an ArtsTalk, Comic Book & Cosplay Mania, interactive workshops, film screening, silent disco party, farmers market, tours and more. In addition to the ARTSLAUNCH2016 activities, the public also had the first opportunity to purchase tickets to more than 50 shows for the Arsht Center’s 11th season throughout the day.
