An Evening with Chef Eric Ripert at Arsht Center
Miami, FL – June 2, 2016 – The Café at Books & Books and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County presented An Evening with Eric Ripert. South Florida fans joined the celebrity chef and owner of the three Michelin-starred Le Bernardin restaurant in New York to discuss his new memoir, 32 Yolks, alongside South Beach Wine & Food Festival founder Lee Brian Schrager. Following the interactive conversation guests enjoyed a champagne reception and 5-course dinner prepared by South Florida’s top chefs, Timon Balloo, Michelle Bernstein, Wolfgang Birk, Brad Kilgore and Jose Mendin under the direction of Chef Allen Susser.
There are few chefs in the world who have accomplished more than Eric Ripert. Since he was named as executive chef, Le Bernardin has maintained a three-star Michelin rating and is the only restaurant to have earned five consecutive four-star ratings from The New York Times. Ripert has received four James Beard Awards including “Outstanding Chef of the Year” and “Best Chef in New York,” starred in three seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Avec Eric on PBS-TV and the Cooking Channel, and is a regular guest on Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown on CNN.
