TREND Group Unveils Donation of Life-Size Gold Mosaic Elephant Figure to Zoo Miami Foundation

Miami, FL – May 20, 2016 – In celebration of Endangered Species Day and to raise awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species and their habitats, TREND Group unveiled its donation of a life-size gold mosaic elephant figure valued at $100K to Zoo Miami Foundation, which will be featured at the African elephant exhibit with “Golden Girls” Peggy and Mable and its newest additions, Lisa and Cita. The stunning figure took 12 mosaic artists more than a year to create, weighs 2,710 lbs. and measures 7 ft. wide, 16 ft. high and 27 ft. long. Zoo Miami Foundation, formerly The Zoological Society of Florida, is the non-profit support organization for Zoo Miami.
