Tracy Anderson Supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at Move to Cure Fundraiser at Bal Harbour Shops
Bal Harbour, FL – April 30, 2016 – Tracy Anderson celebrated the success of her 8 week pop-up studio at Bal Harbour Shops in Miami by planning a cardio dance party at the first all-luxury fashion center in a tropical garden setting. Celebrating its’ 50th year, Bal Harbour Shops is anchored by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and features high-end retailers like Chanel, Bulgari, The Webster, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli and Tiffany & Co. The fashion center was home to a mass, live dance workout and fundraising event on Saturday afternoon benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). 100% of ticket sales were donated to the BCRF. Programming for the event was in association with Tracy Anderson’s Move to Cure, a campaign created and launched by the fitness expert last October during breast cancer awareness month in support of BCRF; a 501(c)(3) organization where 91 cents of every dollar spent is directed towards breast cancer research and awareness programs. Host committee members Kinga Lampert, Lara Shriftman, Sarah Harrelson, Jenny Kennedy, Gisela Lowenstein, and Christina Martin were joined by members of the Miami community and BCRF supporters in celebration of the event.
Following a morning reception, guests experienced Tracy Anderson’s brand new low impact, high calorie burning dance cardio workout TA VA, a fitness program inspired by Tracy’s many years working with Jennifer Lopez in the gym. The TA VA dance cardio workout has been a highly soughtafter class offering at Tracy Anderson studios, and the focus of a new Tracy Anderson DVD which will be available at Target stores in mid-May. Tracy Anderson is best known for her Tracy Anderson Method, with devotees including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Lena Dunham, Nicole Richie, Robert Downey Jr, and even Miss Piggy. Over the past 17 years, the Tracy Anderson Method has grown and evolved, though the basic premise remains the same: Tracy continues to develop thousands of new routines to ensure that no client ever plateaus. With five studio locations—including a brand-new studio in New York’s East Hampton neighborhood—and more than 170 DVDs (most notably the wildly-popular Metamorphosis series, and Pregnancy Project and Teen Meta DVDs) in addition to real time video streaming classes, Tracy has transformed the bodies of countless people across the globe. Most recently, she has released a line of CLEAR protein bars and shakes at select Target stores nationwide, and plans to introduce a nationwide food delivery program later this month.
