Miami Beach, FL – May 10, 2016 – CASA COR, Americas preeminent Interior Design, Architecture and Landscape event will debut in Miami April 15 through May 15, 2017. Giancarlo Civita, Chairman of Abril, Casa Cor’s parent company, along with Antonio Barreto, CEO of CASA COR Miami hosted a dinner at Faena Hotel Miami Beach celebrating Miami as today’s Capital of Latin America. After gathering for cocktails and conversation in the Hotel’s Living Room, while enjoying the soft vocal sounds of an Argentine chanteuse, guests then passed through a corridor of larger than life verré églomisé murals to a red moiré clothed table fervently guarded by Damien Hirst’s mythological gilded mammoth sculpture, “Gone but not Forgotten”,  under a clear Miami evening sky.

“We are very happy and honored to be launching Casa Cor here in Miami”, Mr. Civita said as he raised his glass to the table of twenty designers, architects, landscape architects and others representing Florida, United States  and International Markets. “Miami is an exciting market of diverse and rich cultures, a perfect canvas for designers to exhibit their best work and one of the most creative cities in the Americas.” Mr. Barreto added. Chef Frances Mallmann’s open-fire dinner fare, along with perfectly paired wine selections, reigned over courses well into the late evening hours. CASA COR Miami will present the latest in decoration trends from leading and emerging Interior Designers, Decorators, Architects and Landscape Architects from around the globe. The evening was produced by mkarte for CASA COR and CASA COR Miami.
