Miami Beach, FL – April 7, 2016 – Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the 2nd Annual Teclas were held at ICON presented by Telemundo during Hispanicize, the largest U.S. Hispanic marketing, media and entertainment industries event in the nation. The award show recognized excellence across thirty-two categories, including one Audience Choice Awards chosen entirely by members of the public. The awards are a co-production of the Hispanicize event and the DiMe Media creators network. The Tecla Awards was conducted in alliance with iBlog Magazine, the lead blog industry trade media partner, and the Hispanic PR Blog. The awards were headlined with a performance by Puerto Rican, global reggaeton sensation Wisin. Telemundo was the official and exclusive media partner of the awards.
