Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce “Downtown Miami Evolving” Developer Roundtable

Miami, FL – April 12, 2016 – The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce held its annual Developer Roundtable event presented by One River Point and Doulgas Elliman Real Estate on the future site of One River Point, the striking pair of 60-story Rafael Vinoly-designed towers leading the renaissance of the Miami River. One River Point’s developer Shahab Karmely, Founder and Principal of New York-based KAR Properties, was joined by Stephen Owens, President of Swire Properties and Alyce Robertson, Executive Director of the Miami DDA. The three discussed the evolution of Miami’s Downtown and Brickell areas in a panel discussion and Q&A moderated by David Restainer, Chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate committee. Following the panel – which focused on the growth and strength of the commercial and residential developments surrounding the Miami River – guests enjoyed cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres along the riverfront, getting a glimpse of the prime location and views that will be afforded to future One River Point residents.
