Frost Science Young Patrons Urban Gardening Workshop & Foraging Tour

Miami, FL – April 24, 2016 – Frost Science partnered with the Little River Cooperative to host a urban gardening workshop and foraging tour for their Young Patrons. Guests got their hands dirty while learning how to create and maintain their very own edible urban garden. Frost Science’s Horticulturist, Jessica Zarate, was on hand to discuss the greenery that will be presented on the Rooftop Terraces of the new museum and Tiffany Noe, co-owner of Little River Cooperative and author of “Forager: A Subjective Guide to Miami’s Edible Plants” lead a foraging tour to showcase what edible plants grow in our very own neighborhoods. Guests got to take their plants home along with a goody bag filled with all the essentials to start your very own edible garden.
