Sotheby’s Kicks Off Miami Art Week with Cristina Lei Rodriguez Installation at 1 Hotel South Beach

Miami Beach, FL – November 30, 2015 – The international art world is on its annual Miami field trip this week and Sotheby’s is on hand to host a series of exclusive nightly events in a penthouse lounge at the new 1 Hotel South Beach. The series kicked off last night with a reception hosted by Latin American Art specialists Axel Stein, Anna Di Stasi, Maria Bonta De La Pezuela and Raul Suarez. Miami artist Cristina Lei Rodriguez showcased her installation filled with richly textured sculptures in the penthouse interior. If you have yet to check it out, Rodriguez’s work will be on exhibition all week.
