Miami, FL – November 20, 2015 – The de la Cruz Collection, EXILE Books and Miami Design District hosted a lecture with Kim Gordon and founder of EXILE Books, Amanda Keeley. Gordon, an artist, writer, musician, and actor discussed her multifaceted career as well as her latest book release, “Girl in A Band.” “In Conversation…Kim Gordon” was the inaugural discussion in a series hosted by de la Cruz Collection and Miami Design District in partnership with EXILE Books.“In Conversation” is a continuation of the cultural projects the de la Cruz Collection, Miami Design District and EXILE Books aims to present through a series of curated lectures by distinguished artists, writers, musicians, curators, and cultural figures. As a part of their shared commitment to education and the fostering of intellectual dialog within Miami, this series will stand as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas focusing on women in the arts.
