Miami, FL – October 2, 2015 – Continuing our ride through the Audi TT Drive 305 – a digital partnership between THE COLLECTION and World Red Eye – insiders can get an up close and personal look at the all-new 2016 Audi TT through the eyes of three of Miami’s own. We spent the day jetting around town with Stylist and Blogger Nikole Powers, who gave us a glimpse into Miami through her eyes behind the wheel of the newly-arrived 2016 Audi TT.

Powers works full time as a stylist, writer, creative adviser and editor of In High Demand. Born and raised in South Florida, Powers witnessed Fashion and curated style at a young age. Miami being the melting pot that it is, culture and art have always largely influenced her life and lead her into the fashion industry. She went to college at the Miami Art Institute for a degree in Fashion Design and started her career at local boutiques, managing and assisting in purchasing collections for the stores. She took a personal interest in seeking out new designers with innovative vision and loved introducing the new lines to the stores and her customers.  She later went on and went to work for designers in Miami, whole selling to boutiques and major stores like Bergdorf Goodman’s and Saks 5th Avenue. It was there she got to see the process of how to create a line from start to finish, starting with a vision to the completed line. She took an absolute love in styling the lines on customers and buyers and was recognized for her eclectic taste and keen eye for detail. She is now featured in major publications for her styling tips and trend forecasting and spends her time between Miami, LA and New York.

WRE: Had you ever driven an Audi before?

NP: I have driven an Audi before, not a TT though.

WRE: What was your perception of Audi after you drove the TT?

NP: There was this guy I really liked in High School who drove a TT. My perception was “Hot”

WRE: When and where were you happiest driving your TT?

NP: I had a convertible, so driving over 395 with the sun and that view was a treat.

WRE: How would you describe the driving experience of the TT? 

NP: I loved the car, it handled so well. I’m a zip in-and-out of traffic kinda gal so the Audi TT fully met expectations.

WRE: What was your favorite destination while jetting around town in the Audi TT?

NP: The Standard, they parked it out front. Wait time at valet, 2 minutes.

WRE: The TT is packed with technology. What was your favorite tech feature?

NP: I was so surprised when THE COLLECTION told me I could write on the console control. You usually have to scroll through letters one at a time to search things… nope, not here.!

WRE: What was the TT’s most memorable characteristic?

NP: I loved the quilted seats. Sorry, I’m in fashion!

WRE: Did you get any compliments on your TT? 

NP: I got a lot of “Nice Car!!”

WRE: Describe the 2016 Audi TT in one word.

NP: Intriguing.

WRE: What song do you identify with your TT?

NP: I have such a love for Fetty Wap, so “ My Way” featuring Monty.

WRE: Would you recommend a TT to your friends?

NP: I would totally recommend the all-new Audi TT. I want one!

WRE: What first inspired you to become a Stylist?

NP: I’ve always enjoyed the presence clothes can make. A great outfit can revolutionize someone’s persona.

WRE: What do you consider your greatest life achievement?

NP: Doing what I love for a living.

WRE: What is your life motto?

NP: My motto is “ Be kind, be creative, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh.” It’s worked for me so far.

WRE: What is your current state of mind?

NP: I’m in a Miami state of mind. I think have a new song for Billy Joel, haha.
