BNY Mellon Wealth Management Celebrates “The Gift of Art” at The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU
Miami, FL – September 26, 2015 – Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU celebrated the unveiling of the “The Saw” by Jack Beal painting donated to the Museum by BNY Mellon Wealth Management, in honor of Betty Laird Perry. The evening also highlighted the importance of art conservation with presentations by Rustin Levenson and Rosa Lowinger. The Director of the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU, Dr. Jordana Pomeroy, and the museum’s Major Gifts Officer, Ana Martinez, welcomed executives from BNY Mellon, the Museum’s Board Chair Jose Valdes-Fauli, the Senior Vice President of the FIU Foundation, Howard Lipman, art collectors Cricket and Martin Taplin, Betty Laird Perry, the artist Carlos Estevez and Miami’s arts and culture influencers.
